Philip was practically predestined to make his career in the building profession. His father, Joseph Napier was a successful, reputable builder and developer in the Pensacola area for over 30 years. Growing up in the family business, Philip spent his teenage summers working in the field with the construction crews. His father firmly believed that the business needed to be learned by working your way up from the bottom ranks The summer following his high school graduation, Philip built his first home from the ground up and entered it into the Pensacola area Parade of Homes, where it was awarded the “best of show”. He then embarked on a college education which culminated with his 1979 graduation with high honors from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction. After several more years of working under his father’s tutelage, Philip took over the reigns of the company in 1982 following his father’s retirement.
Since 1982 Napier, Incorporated has successfully delivered hundreds of new homes, remodels and commercial buildings to its large and growing customer base. Most of our work comes from referral from previous clients as well as designers with whom we have worked, indicating the level of quality and satisfaction we produce. Many of our customers are repeat customers, which many feel to be an anomaly in today’s construction industry environment.
